Wintergreen Fund for Conservation

Established in 1998 to assist the Conservation Authority in raising funds for community conservation and recreation projects, the Wintergreen Fund is made up of volunteers dedicated to the protection and restoration of our natural resources and the beautification of the City.

To date, Wintergreen has lit the Gillies Lake walkway, assisted in community trails development, provided environmental bursaries to local students and planted trees throughout the community. If you are interested learning more about Wintergreen or feel you can help them in their endeavours, contact the Conservation Authority for more information.
